This page is intended for KYSA teams wishing to participate in the Kent Cornucopia Cup Soccer Tournament by volunteering their time to ensure another successful tournament again this year.

2008 Volunteer Job Assignments

There is currently a shortage of volunteers, primarily for Field Marshall duties. Please contact Marcy Alonzo (volunteer coordinator) at 253-850-7850 if you are interested in volunteering, or with any other volunteer-related questions.

Important Volunteer Instructions

General Age Requirements For Volunteering Note: The volunteer workforce consists primarily of adults. There will be a limited number of positions available to those under the age of 18.

Children should be15 years old and older to help with parking.
Adults for field marshal jobs and registration.
Anyone under the age of 18 needs to have an adult mentoring.
Any child under 12 that wants to help their parent or guardian, can do so with full time parent supervision, but the child's time can not be counted with the parents time as two people working.

All volunteers should arrive 15 minutes early to their assigned location, and if you are at the Pea Patch you need to check in at the Registration table to sign in prior to each and every shift. If you don't sign in, you don't get credit for your time.

Those volunteers at non-Pea Patch locations (Kentwood HS, Kent-Meridian HS, Meridian MS, and Wilson Field) should call to the registration desk at the Pea Patch upon arrival to "check in". There will be a cell phone at these field locations and there will be posted information for what number to call to check in.

Field Marshals at non-Pea Patch fields are responsible for collecting scores from the referees and coaches and transmitting these down to the registration table at the Pea Patch.
