Coaches can use the KYSA SAM website to fill out the online Risk Management Application. For Referees that do not belong to a club, please use the link on the WSYSA website (http://www.wsysa.com/rma) . Requests made through these online systems are typically processed within 48 hours. The status of any online application is clearly visible to the applicant and administrators through SAM and the many links and reports provided. Please discard any paper RMA applications that you have and fill out the forms online.
Here are a few significant RMA changes:
Every application will automatically be assigned an RMA number including those not cleared. The RMA status of each application will be one of six designations:
Each RMA number has a history. This history shows relevant information about changes to an applicant's account, what club they registered with, when a card was printed, etc. It can also be used to record notes for administrators, or even for the members themselves.
There are several reasons why it will be better for members to complete the coach registrations themselves:
-
Applicants may need to disclose confidential information on the RMA form which would not be appropriate to disclose to a team Administrator.
-
Information entered by the applicant is more accurate. For example, a registrar entered applications on behalf of their coaches, but entered invalid birth dates. This meant the system could not correctly identify applicants with existing RMA numbers. It also creates duplicate member accounts. If an administrator/registrar must enter information for their coaches, please have correct information on hand prior to entering them.
